PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES AND THE FUTURE OF HEALTH: INTEGRATING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, AND SUSTAINABILITY
The Central Brazil Pharmaceutical Sciences Congress (CFBC) is a medium-to-large-scale scientific congress held in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, and organized biennially by the Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). The initiative originated in the early 1980s under the name Pharmaceutical Scientific Week (SCF). Since its inception, the congress has experienced continuous growth, progressively establishing itself as a national-level event and attracting researchers, professionals, and students from various regions of Brazil. As a result of this expansion, the name was changed from SCF to CFBC in 2013, reinforcing the event's national scope through the formation of a multi-institutional scientific committee comprising researchers from diverse Brazilian institutions.
