General Information

 The Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy (BJHP), ISSN 2596-321X, publishes one volume per year containing at least 4 figures, fully financedby the Regional Pharmacy Professional Council of the State of Minas Gerais (CRF/MG). The abbreviated title of the journal is Braz. J. H. Pharm.

 Responsibility Policy of CRF/MG to the journal

The CRF/MG represented by its President is the responsible and sponsor of the Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy (ISSN 2596-321X) online publication.

CRF/MG is responsible for supporting the Editorial Team in its activities, providing infrastructure for editorial production and representing the journal educational Institutions government agencies.

Free and Open Access Policy

The BJHP online is open and free of charge. This journal offers immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater democratization of knowledge.

 Periodicity

The Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy (ISSN 2596-321X) is published quarterly.

 Copyright Policy

The authors of manuscripts accepted for publication at BJHP reserve the copyrights and grant the right of first publication to the journal. The authors may assume additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal, provided that there is recognition of authorship and initial publication in this journal. The term of assignment is governed by Law No. 9.610/1998, which amends, updates and consolidates the legislation about the copyright laws in Brazil.

Responsibilities of the authors

The contents and opinions expressed in the manuscripts are the sole responsibility of their authors and do not necessarily express the opinion of the CRF/MG or the editorial board of BJHP (ISSN 2596-321X). The right to not accept manuscripts with content and language which are of a racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic or discriminatory nature has been reserved.

Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to BJHP will undergo procedures for investigation of possible plagiarism by means of anti-plagiarism software, before been reviewed. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure the originality of his work. Manuscripts with high similarity of text will be refused.

Figures published in other technical productions, books or articles must be accompanied by the written authorization from the book publisher or the magazine publisher.

Conflict of Interest

Conflicts of interest may arise when authors, reviewers or editors have interests, visible or not, that may affect the writing, the evaluation of the manuscript and/or the decision making by the editors. Conflicts of interest can be personal, commercial, political, academic or financial.

When submitting a manuscript, the authors are responsible for recognizing and describing financial conflicts or other financial or personal connections in relation to the research that may have influenced the work, in whole or in part. Thus, it is necessary to declare funding of any nature, by funding agencies or similar ones, or any institution of commercial character, such as the pharmaceutical industry, laboratories, clinics, private hospitals, pharmacies and drugstores.

If the authors are not sure what can be considered a potential conflict of interest, they should contact the administrative office of BJHP.

Similarly, reviewers should report to the editors any conflict of interest that may affect their opinion on the manuscript and, when applicable, should declare themselves not qualified to review it.

Competences of the Editorial Committee

The Administrative Secretariat is the sector responsible for operating the editorial process of the journal, meeting the demands of the Editorial Committee, communicating with the authors and reviewers, organizing and keeping the register of authors and reviewers updated, in addition to updating the information on the site of the journal and its social networks.

The members of the Editorial Committee are invited by the President of CRF/MG and have a three-year term of office, with two reappointments allowed.

The Editor-in-Chief is a pharmacist appointed among the members of the Editorial Committee and also has a three-year term of office, with one reappointment allowed. The Editor-in-Chief, together with the Editorial Committee, is responsible for ensuring that the journal's editorial policy and scientific content are fulfilled; coordinating and supervising the activities carried out within the journal, involving the editorial process; taking care of the journal's assets and the name of the journal within the institution. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the organization of the actions for the promotion, expansion and growth of the diffusion and qualification of BJHP. The Editor-in-Chief is also responsible for calling and presiding over the meetings of the Editorial Committee and for reporting to the Presidency of the CRF/MG regarding the decisions and definitions made at team meetings.

The Editorial Committee is responsible for the process of manuscript evaluation from submission, controlling all stages of merit evaluation, and approving or not the work for publication.
